4 Pillars for AI Business Excellence.
OBJECTIVE
EXCELLENT-AI (4 Pillars for AI Business Excellence) aims to facilitate the transition of organizations towards business models powered by artificial intelligence, enabling them to harness its potential to drive innovation, improve competitiveness and strengthen their ability to adapt in changing environments. The project will develop advanced tools for strategic management, AI governance, business opportunity assessment and risk management, promoting the responsible, ethical and effective adoption of these technologies.
CIC IN THE PROJECT
Within the framework of EXCELLENT-AI, CIC will research and develop an advanced knowledge management platform based on artificial intelligence, designed to transform unstructured information into accessible and actionable knowledge for decision-making. The solution will incorporate intelligent digitization and automatic information extraction capabilities from complex documents, semantic enrichment and data contextualization, as well as advanced search and knowledge retrieval mechanisms.
The platform will also integrate natural language-based conversational interfaces that will enable non-technical users to access information in a simple and traceable way, together with interactive visualization and predictive analytics tools capable of identifying trends, detecting anomalies and generating projections on variables of interest.
As a cross-cutting element, CIC will design a modular and scalable architecture based on principles of governance, auditability and regulatory compliance, incorporating mechanisms for the secure management of the AI model lifecycle and ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks such as the GDPR and the European AI Act. The result will be a technological platform that can be transferred to different sectors, capable of improving access to knowledge, increasing operational efficiency and reinforcing the adoption of trustworthy and responsible artificial intelligence.
PROJECT PARTNERS
EXCELLENT-AI is led by the German applied research institute Fraunhofer and brings together a total of 16 partners from Germany, Finland, Spain and Portugal.
