Keeping up with SGRwin promotion outside our borders, CIC has implemented SGRwin in Iceland during 2019 to manage Orkufjarskipti telecommunication network that covers the entire island and is controlled from its headquarters in Reykjavik. The technologies adopted so far are IP Packet, PDH and SDH from the manufacturers Cisco, Nokia, Avara, DNWP and Haliplex. In addition, the Coriant hiT7300 and several Westermo switch models have been analyzed with the goal of affording their integration in the near future.
As conclusion of a successful project, the last visit took place in January 2020 to perform acceptance tests, user training and final system transfer.
The client has relied directly on CIC and adds a new international reference for SGRwin (which is already implemented in 35 countries) that will encourage other similar companies to bet on our solutions.
A new stage is now opened to extend functionality beyond alarm monitoring, through end-to-end circuit management, inventory and other advanced functions. During the month of February, we will meet again with the chance to introduce other CIC products such as IDbox, Fildeas and LUCA, for example.
