Continuing with the promotion of SGRwin abroad, CIC has implanted it in 2019 for Orkufjasrkipti, to manage its telecom network all over the island from its capital, Reykjavik. The technologies adopted until now have been IP-Packet, PDH and SDH from Cisco, Nokia, Avara, DNWP and Halipax. Coriant´s hiT7300 was also analysed, as well as various switch models from Westermo with the intention of integrating them shortly.
As a conclusion to this successful project, we made our last visit, in January 2020, to carry out acceptance tests, training users and transfer to the final system.
The client has relied directly on CIC for SGRwin and, therefore, added another international client to our list (present in over 35 countries) giving us better visibility that will surely encourage other companies to adopt our software solutions.
Another phase has begun to enlarge the functionality of SGRwin. The technology does more than just monitor alarms, by means of end-to-end circuit management, inventory and other advanced functions. During the month of February we will have another meeting to introduce other CIC products such as IDboxRT, FIELDEAS and LUCA BDS.
